The Eco-Shopper is a savvy, efficient personal shopping service helping people and businesses find eco-friendly items that delight the senses and protect the environment.

The Eco-Shopper seeks to support shoppers in making environmentally friendly, compassionate choices as consumers. It is for people who want to to support good stewardship of the earth with their spending, but need (and can afford) a little extra help navigating the vast new world of eco-products.

I help people VOTE WITH THEIR DOLLARS for a cleaner, safer, more peaceful planet. I can find clothes, shoes, housewares, linens, kids’ items, cleaning products, personal care items, and cosmetics that match or exceed the quality (and quite often, even affordability) of their mainstream counterparts.

I can find organic cotton, hemp, vegan, recycled, reclaimed, fair-trade, non-toxic, low-impact versions of many common items. So you get what you want and need--and make a difference with your purchase. You consume with less impact than you would have otherwise.

My ultimate purpose is to help transform the way people consume--making it easy to find and purchase pleasing earth-friendly goods and vote with their dollars for a better world. Long-term, this should result in significantly improved health for people and the earth, and measurable reduction in waste, toxicity, cruelty, and environmental damage.

In the months to come, this site will be expanded greatly to include much more information and to accommodate credit cards, other e-commerce, gift registries, and a full menu of services. I will also add and maintain resources: articles, tips, links, book recommendations, news, and more.
